Week 36 : FELIZ NAVIDAD!!! ( Dec. 22,2014)

FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!!!

Hola todos. So transfers were this week and I received a new companion.  Her name is Hermana Paul and she is from Pennsylvania.  She is awesome!!  I´m soooo excited for this transfer.  This week was just awesome.  She brought some great ideas for the area and I can just feel that things are going to take off.

We had an awesome lesson with a family that we´ve been teaching for about 2 transfers.  We taught them about Jose Smith and the Book of Mormon finally (they are kind of hard to find).  But they were so receptive to the spirit and the 3 family members that were present accepted a baptismal date.  I´m excited to see them progress.  Unfortunately, they have not come to church yet, but I have faith.  I know there is a reason the Lord doesn´t want us to drop them.

My house is completely different than it used to be.  There are now two Americans woohoo!! An Hermana from Aruba (who was here last transfer too) and an Hermana from Spain who is super sweet and says her Z´s like TH¨s haha its kind of cool.

Sorry this is really short.  I didn´t plan on writing today (today isn´t pday. they changed it to Thursday and last minute told us we could still email today.)

Love you all!

Love, Hermana Perry

Scripture of the week: I´ve read it a billion times, but it really hit me hard this week: John 6:35, 48, 51

35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

48 I am that bread of life

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world
