HOLA HOLA HOLA!!!!!!! Ah my gosh I don't know where to start!! It has been a crazy week. So the crazy adventrue getting here started the moment I got to the airport in SLC. One of our flights got changed because one of our layovers was too short.. That wasn't bad at all. Once I got past security I found 4 other sister missionaries: Hermanas Peacock, Padgett, Smith, and Gingell. I love these ladies soooo much!!! So we were the last to board the plane so they didn't have room for our carryons so they had to check them which was nice because we didn't have to carry them everywhere. Once we got do dallas we couldn't find our flight on the board thingy so we had a little freakout and blah blah blah. But all was well, just a 3 hour layover. While we waited we rode the sky train and tried to stay balanaced... really dumb, yeah.. But it passed the time.. So we got ont he plane in Dallas and got all the way down the runway before they told us there was something wrong with the plane so we had to get off and find another plane. We ended up staying in DAllas for 5 1/2 hours!!!! Oh my freaking gosh :P So our plane from dallas was scheduled to leave at 9:40 and we weren't scheduled to get in until 9:30 so we were freaking out. Luckily there were some loveely people who traded us for the front of the plane so we could book it to the other one. Once we got off, we sprinted from D2 to D17 aaaaaand.... we didn't make it :P we where even on time!! So we ended up stuck in Miami. We got a hotel and some food vouchers. At this time we were quite upset that we dind't have our carryons because they had our spare clothes. The next flight was the next morning at 10 am. Everything went well with that flight woohoo! We got to the DR, found our luggage, and went outside to find the dude to take us to the MTC and they guy with the sign looked a little sketchy haha so we took down the licence plate # of the guy that had our luggage P00627 or something haha. but once again, all was well. Right when we got the CCM we were greeted by the CCM president and his wife (Freestones) and went right to lunch. Right after that we went to a lesson on how to teach an invesitagor and we didn't even have time to change out of our nasty clothes. Sooo my companion and I got to teach an "investigator" on our first day!! Scary!!! But fun!! :) My comp is Hermana Peacock and I love her!!!! By the end of the first day I was soooo out of it haha it was so exhausting!!

Ahh I don't even know what else happened this week... its been sooo long. We jumped right in to learning spanish and it's great. On our 2nd day we learned how to pray and that was such an amazing experience. We each went around and read our little prayer and the spirit was sooooo strong!! No one knew what they were saying but it was still amazing. Gym time is awesome. Me and like 3 other Hermanas run around the temple for exercise, then we play ulitmate frisbee. I get pretty into it... Haha I've had a few crashes and collisions with others but I've never gotten hurt. haha I think I scare the elders because of how agressive I am haha. Getting out of bed is hard and easy... some days its sooo hard because I'm soooo tired, but other days its like ok, time to work. But I'm am exhaused the whole day!!! They work ya hard here. This CCM is super small.... there are only like 35 missionaries right now. 23 of them are americans and the rest are Haitians who speak french. they are all going to serve in Haiti. Pretty cool. The food is really good. We had a lot of rice, beans, meat, rice, fruit, rice, oatmeal, and rice. And they give you sooo much!! In the evenings we teach a progressng investigator... in spanish!! and it is soooo cool!!! We've taught him 3 lessons. Soo cool. SOOOO,, I struggle a lot and run into things all the time haha so my comp started keeping track of how many things i run into, and most days she cant keep track haha!!! My favorite quote for this week is something that Hma Gingell said: Mas o Manos. Haha more or hands (it should be more or less: mas o menos). So we tried to count how many prayers we say each day and we counted 22, not including personl ones through out the day!! It's crazy, but I know the Lord is so grateful to get to hear from His children.

This morning we got to go to the temple which is right outside to door of the CCM. After we did an endowment session, we got to do sealings. We each got to do 2, and there were like 23 of us in there. The second one I did was for a girl named Ella V. Ashby to her parents (Benjamin F. and Mary Virginia Mitchell) and I thought hey, I'm related to an Ashby so go I got the name and her parents and looked at my pedigree chart and found a Benjamin and Mary Ashby so there is a chance I am related. It was such a cool experience and when I found the names, the joy I felt brought me to my knees knowing that I helped my ancentors be seal to one another. So powerful. I don't have time to write anything else... But I LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH AND I LOVE IT HERE!!!!

Love, Hermana Perry

P.S. ask questions because I don't know what you want to know
